President & Founder
Serena Freiberg
Our therapy provider and President is an LPC and Certified EMDR trauma therapist. She has a client-centered focus and sees each client as a worthy individual deserving of respect, dedication, and absolute confidentiality. She approaches each person using a faith-based holistic framework that incorporates the Adaptive Informational Processing model as a guide for case conceptualization. Along with EMDR and the AIP model, she utilizes a mix of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Motivational Interviewing, Art and Play in treatment. Alena manages our applications and processing for grants and fundraising. She has a heart for women who are hurting and is devoted to bringing hope to places that are under served.

Georgia Hotaling
Georgia is a military veteran and has a heart for those hurting. She has a degree in accounting and is an excellent organizer, bringing detail and structure to her role.

At Designed to Heal Outreach, we are dedicated to helping at-risk women heal through in-person and mobile EMDR trauma therapy. We are committed to reducing recidivism and self-harm while enhancing resilience and community well-being. Our team is passionate about fostering healing and strength in every step of the journey.
Our organization offers a range of services at no cost to clients to empower at-risk women and create a supportive environment for their recovery. We serve women with a history of trauma who cannot afford therapy on their own. From trauma therapy to community outreach programs, we are focused on making a positive impact and transforming lives.
